Well gang the bdf year is off to a busy start. Lots of calls for photo sessions on the books and lots of images being taken even though it is our “off season.” Big plans for the 2011 wedding season which for us officially starts in about a month. We have been busy working on establishing and maintaining excellent contacts within the wedding industry. We are positioned very well to provide excellent professional service to all our clients. Although we have been involved with bridal shows in the Saint John area in previous years, for 2011 we have chosen to take a break from them and look at other ways for “exposure.” Maintaining this blog (thank you Penny) and having a strong presence on Facebook seem to be helping. Truth is, it is our clients that bring us the most business in the form of referrals.
The most recent contacts made are with The Shadow Lawn Inn and the hiring of Norman Hector as wedding coordinator there and the ladies at Designs Studio & Co Wedding Boutique in Dieppe.
So one thing we thought we would try is some advertising just to see how it goes…..tomorrow we have a full page ad running in the wedding supplement of the newspaper – KV Style. The ad is pictured below, Penny and I are very pumped over this little adventure, hopefully it brings good results……stay tuned here on the bdf blog for a follow-up story, I will let you know a little about the results we see (our experience with this ad). So far it has been a very pleasant undertaking and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Amber LeBlanc and her staff at KV Style for all their help putting this together.
